 Kirk Cousins wondering if he's supposed to kneel or spike the ball when the clock is running down The Mind of Kirk Cousins with 6 seconds left in the first half.
After Kirk lead the Redskins on a great drive down the field using only 25 seconds with no time outs and a wonderfully timed delay of game against the eagles. The eagles took a time out setting the Redskins up to kick a field goal. The Redskins decided they wanted to try for more than just the three points. Kirk got up to the line and surveyed the defense. “Man I hope we don’t run out of time on this play" Kirk Thought. "Garcon doesn’t look like he’ll be open maybe I shouldn’t throw the fade. That's fine this play will just be a throw away and we can get three points. So how can I stop the clock again? It’s either a spike or a kneel down. Well I have a 50-50 chance of being right so let’s just run this play and see what happens." Hike… Crap that kneel down felt wrong. Let me try and thrown the ball down now.
